Lifespan Of A Bra

Many women treat their old bras just like a good old friend, they find the old bras are most comfortable. Do you know that the average lifespan of a bra is 6 months to 1 year (depending on how often it is worn) or after about 100 wears? Even if a bra still looks good and seem to be clean after wearing for a certain period of time, there will inevitably be some bacteria which are invisible to the naked eyes or hidden in the bra cups foam, so it should be replaced regularly.

Check the condition of your bras once every 6 months to 1 year. Don’t be reluctant to replace it.  Don’t treat it as a decorative accessory. Take good care of your breasts, keep your breasts healthy and happy.

Time To Change Your Bra If You Find These

It is recommended to replace your bras if the following signs occur!

  • When body changes occur and the bra no longer fits you. Our breasts will change in size over time. It is recommended to measure your breasts size regularly.
  • When the bra is no longer comfortable.
  • When the bra straps and fabric lost elasticity.
  • When wires poke out.
  • When the bra cups have lost their shape.
  • Mold and mildew stains appear on the bras.

After women gradually enter into middle age, the muscles that originally support the periphery of the spine will gradually weakened, and the accumulation of body fat increases the burden on the spine. A bra with good support not only can avoid sagging and side set breasts, but most importantly, it can provide the auxiliary force to help straighten the spine. A loose and deformed bra has completely lost its support function. If you often experience back pain, shoulder and neck numbness, check your bra, sometimes the problem comes from your “intimate good old friends”.
